When you give someone a gift card from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, you can feel good knowing they'll redeem that card for some pretty great beverages - something they can savor, like expertly roasted coffees, exquisite teas, and sensational flavoring powders. (Equipment and drinkware too.) Our physical gift cards and eGift cards can be redeemed at our cafe locations and in the Coffee Bean Rewards mobile app.

Gift Cards FAQs
An eGift card is an electronic card. eGift cards are very convenient. These are sent digitally via email and make great instant gifts.
At this time, gift cards can only be used for instore purchases, for orders made through The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf app and/or can be redeemed for phone orders.
Due to system limitations, we are no longer accepting new gift cards for online purchases. Your gift card can be used for instore purchases, for orders made through The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf app and/or can be redeemed for phone orders.

On the delivery date you choose, an email is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the eGift Card you created (the design you selected, with your recipient's name and your personalized message), its value and card number. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift Card.
You can use your The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf gift card at any of our cafe locations in the U.S. You can add the card to The Coffee Bean Rewards® app. The Coffee Bean Rewards® app is available at participating locations only. Please visit our store locator to view participating locations.
Yes. To transfer the value of your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card or eGift card to The Coffee Bean Rewards® app, open the app, go to “More”, tap "Manage Cards", then tap "+ Add Card” in the top right hand corner. Next, select “Add Existing Gift Card” and enter the gift card number and PIN. For more information on how to manage your gift cards in The Coffee Bean Rewards® visit us here. NOTE: Once you transfer your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card entire balance, your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card or eGift card will be deactivated and value cannot be added back to it.
For single card purchases, gift cards will be sent via standard USPS mail. The benefit here is that the recipient gets a physical gift in the mail. For bulk purchases of multiple gift cards, we may use a parcel carrier such as UPS or FedEx.
